Behind the Scenes

My Studio

The intimate creative space where pours, sculpted forms and the artist's aesthetic visions are born.

Space for Expression

Located in Abidjan, my studio is designed as a laboratory of ideas and experiments. It is in this research space that each technique harmoniously integrates into my creative process to give birth to the gesture.

« Each pour is born from a mastered gesture — the studio is where matter responds to vision. »

Three zones

Painting Zone

A large space of easels and light for canvas preparation and the expression of movement through acrylic and oil pours.

Sculpture Zone

A workshop dedicated to the physical work of material: wood carving, clay modeling and bronze mold preparation.

Research & Media

Experimentation laboratory for mixed techniques, collage, and the creative fusion of heterogeneous materials.

Creative Process

From inspiration to realization

Inspiration

Observation of social tensions, spiritual meditation and dialogue with African memories.

Conception

Conceptual sketches and choice of chromatic palette as well as the ideal material texture.

Gesture & Realization

Application of layers, pours characteristic of DJEKA's pictorial writing and sculptural work.

Integration

Varnishing, final reflection and presentation of the artwork as a participant in collective life.

A Stimulating Environment

Creation requires a precise setting where the senses are permanently awake to capture the spirit of the times.

Natural lighting : A large skylight provides essential raw daylight.
Immersive acoustics : African rhythmic background music and the sounds of Abidjan.
Exchange space : A friendly meeting place with collectors and curators.
